The TI-55-III and TI56 (although identical in function to the TI-55-II) had a new non click keyboard which eliminated the bounce problems, I know this because I had a TI-55-II in the mid eighties which developed the bounce problem and I sent it back to Texas Instruments who sent me a TI-56 as a replacement.
