Hello Hans,

I found a short description on www.thimet.de, please see http://www.thimet.de/CalcCollection/HP-Series/HP-Models.html for more details. Seems like 2 regular AA (small penlites) should work. Haven't tried it myself though, so be careful!

This family of calculators is still my favourite. Exquisite design: No one has made a better battery door, or shaped a calculator to fit a cupped hand.

My 25c (RIP. Drowned in a bucket of water) was made in Singapore, and was identical except it didn't have the "Continuous Memory" script below the keyboard.

I couldn't find a 25c on eBay, so I ended up buying a 29c (!) for old times sake, and a new 35s for everyday use.

If you have a 25c in great condition, and you'd like a 29c in great condition, perhaps we can trade +$.
