Description

The Tamaya NC-2 was manufactured by Sharp using a Hitachi chip set for Tamaya & Company, Ltd. in Japan.

The Tamaya company specializes in manufacturing marine navigation instruments (such as sextants).
The NC-2 nameplate reads: "Astro-Navigation Calculator" (meaning "astronomical navigation").
While it could be used for aircraft navigation, the term "flight computer" is probably too ambitious.

Thanks to Thomas Schmidt for supplying additional technical specifications.
